Subject : solaris2.x 환경에서 xterminal 한글 openwindow fonts 및 xdm setup
Description :
. server작업내용
1) /usr/openwin/bin/htt 를 solaris 2.3 또는 2.5 version 을 사용
- solaris 2.4 의 한글 input server htt 를 쓰면 안됨 ( bug )
2) /etc/inetd.conf file 에서 tftpd entry 의 comment 를 풀고
security tftp setting 도 해제 ( -s 이하 삭제 )
3) /usr/openwin/lib/xdm/Xsession file 상단에 LANG=korean ;export LANG
을 추가한후 필요하면 olwm& 다음줄에 /usr/openwin/bin/htt& 도 추가.
4) /usr/openwin/lib/xdm/Xservers 를 열어 :0 Local 부분을 comment 함
- 이작업을 안하면 console 에도 xdm 이 DISPLAY 됨.
5) /etc/rc3.d/S17xdm 을 생성하여 아래사항을 edit ( file name은 임의임)
/usr/openwin/bin/xdm -config /usr/openwin/lib/xdm/xdm-config
6) rebooting
**7) fonts 작업 (HXR33 MODEL 은 아래의 작업-fonts uncompress-이 필요없음)
/usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/fonts.dir
/usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/fonts.dir
/usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/misc/fonts.dir
/usr/openwin/lib/locale/ko/X11/fonts/75dpi/fonts.dir
위 4개의 file 을 vi 로 열고 .Z 으로 끝나는 fonts name들의 이름에서
.Z 을 모두 삭제한다.

위 4개의 directory 의 fonts file 을 모두 uncompress 한다.
ex) /usr/bin/uncompress *.Z
. X-terminal작업내용
1) 일반적인 xterminal configuration 은 모두 setting 한다.
2) xdm 을 쓰려면 Configure Network 아래의
xdmcp query mode 를 direct 로 setting 한 후
xdm server name/address 에 serverdml IP address 를 주고
Configure boot/Setup 아래의 Power-up mode 를 X server 로 한다.
3) Configure X Server/Fonts 내의 Default fonts serch path list 에
/usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi/
/usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/
/usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/misc/
/usr/openwin/lib/locale/ko/X11/fonts/75dpi/
