Description :


   remote printing 을 setup 하기 위해서는 printclient의
   hostname이 printserver의  /etc/hosts.equiv 또는 /etc/hosts.lpd
   file에 등록이 되어져야 한다.
   이 printclient hostname은 printclient의 /etc/hosts file의
   첫번째 hosts name entry와 반드시 match되어야 한다.

   예를들면

   printclient 의 hostname이 아래와 같이 setting되어 있고

   192.9.201.134   lair.corp.sun.com   lair


   printserver의 /etc/hosts.equiv  또는 /etc/hosts.lpd file 에  

   /etc/hosts.equiv : 

   lair

   라 등록이 되어 있으면


   printclient로 부터 print를 시도할 때 아래와 같은 error 가
   display 된다.

   lair:/usr/lib/lpd: your host does not have line printer access.




   SOLUTION SUMMARY:

   만약 print server의 hosts.equiv entry를 아래와 같이 바꾸면

    lair.corp.sun.com

   prints out 이 잘될 것이다.

   For printing, the hosts.equiv entry on the print server
   must match the first host name for the print client in
   /etc/hosts on the print client.
